344. paddlepop and swenson
saturday and sunday's cip was the most fun and meaningful i've had in a long time. it certainly beats collecting newspapers. painting with the class was very enjoyable, even though the house was hot and stuffyl. and there were greenish-pink paddlepop on the wall, which eventually still turned into strawberry milk. the lady was also quite kind (and clean, luckily), but she named me samson, which was misheard as simpson and swenson.wiki says:
"Samson is the third to last of the Judges of the ancient Israelites mentioned in the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible) (Book of Judges chapters 13 to 16).
Samson is a Herculean figure, who is granted tremendous strength by God to combat his enemies and perform heroic feats unachievable by ordinary humans: wrestling a lion, slaying an entire army with only a jawbone of an ass, and destroying a temple."
anyway, it would be good if more of such cips could be organised :)
