178. tour fail

my tour was not fantastic, especially since i took the fail tiger airways. the seats were small and i think its looks like a second handed plane. then the person sitting in front of me had to push the seat back to make it smaller. i would rather have the indian plate squeeze me in (ref. china girl insults sichuan earthquake victims).

then the safety booklet says "if you are sitting by the emergency exit and do not have the ability to read or understand this booklet, please inform the crew for a change of seat." this is a total fail.

and then we arrived at the airport and had to wait for the tour guide who was stuck in a highway jam. in the end, it was another tour guide who was nearby who brought us away to lunch.

and in the restaurant they gave us hot water and tea. so some of us were drinking the hot water, until a day later, the tour guide told us the water is actually for washing the plates and cups. and then the for 2 meals everyday, we had chicken, which means we ate 10 in 5 days.

the bus driver was also a total fail. he would hon horn every now and then to either signal to the driver on the other lane to not move over or horn the vehicle in front to f off to the other lane for moving slowly.

and then there was a roadside stall which claims to sell giordano stuff. the stall owners claims that they are all real stuff. but if you search in the pile of clothes a little, you can actually see a few clothings which are spelt as giordino. and they even print plastic bags which looks so like what giordano would do. it also has a website on it - http://e-giordano.com

also there were a lot of spelling fails. there was a sign saying toilet. the chinese words was from right to left, and so the english word became teliot. and then there were a bunch of posters on the ceiling of the mall which says merry christma.

and i was in a bookshop in a mall and i saw a lot of ultra cheap cds, only about 25 yuan. and on the other shelf in the bookshop, there were porn dvds, placed so openly that everyone can see it.

in any case it's more of a fail trip. i won't want to elaborate more cause there's nothing fun to elaborate on. hopefully i would want to upload photos. but most likely i won't because it's too much of a chore.
