112. holidays are meaningless

the first two weeks of the holidays are spent so meaninglessly because i have nothing fun to do, and everything un-fun to do, such as homework. out of my laziness, i miraculously managed to do some chinese, english, and maths homework. but they are all half-done, so it's till quite a headache for me. according to my list, i have 11 things to do, they are:

1) english comprehension
- only summary left undone
2) the right word pg 4-14, 31-37, 49-57, 381-382
- not done at all yet
3) 孙子兵法学习单
- havent even read the book, so don't know how to do
4) compulsory chinese ace
- did one of the five, which is already enough. so done!
5) maths tb ex 12.2 and misc ex 12
- havent even finished ex 12.2
6) ihc reading and worksheet
- the reading is so thick i won't even be tuned on to read it
7) chem 10 years series book
- not very important yet, can wait till i finish others
8) contact bpps for project
- teacher hasnt replied my email
9) projects' day semi-finals
- still compiling documents
10) mrs seck chem web package
- successfully pushed this to shawn
11) file big fat file
- my main file is too big, and the folders are dropping out, but im a little lazy to do so.

so actually i still have 9 things undone.
im thinking of memorising the periodic table to enable easier doing of chem worksheets, but i know it's not likely as im too slack.
then my trigo functions is more important because i dont understand it at all. doing the questions seem to be purely using luck. not sure if i could score well for the upcoming trigo functions test. so sad.

i saw a chinese advertisement for madonna's hard candy. then they kept saying "玛丹娜", and they translated the album title to "娜.式.糖". i was like... erps, so lamely translated, but at least better than something like "硬糖果", which is so literal.
let me review the crap translated titles given to her various albums.

madonna --> 玛丹娜（thats simple)
like a virgin --> 像个处女 (too direct?)
true blue --> 真实的忧郁 (wth???)
you can dance --> 你可以跳舞 (thats easy)
who's that girl --> 娜是谁? (lame...)
like a prayer --> 像个祈祷者 (when i saw the english title, i was thinking, prayer as in the person praying, or the things a person say when praying)
im breathless --> 屏息 (looks a little irrelevant)
the immaculate collection --> 玛丹娜精选 (so the word "immaculate" comes to no use)
erotica --> 情欲 (i thought it would be something like "色情")
bedtime stories --> 枕边故事 (one of the few fine ones)
something to remember --> 情难忘 (eee... so taiwan drama, like the channel 8 4.30pm drama)
evita --> 贝隆夫人 (they might as well call it "mrs peron")
ray of light --> 万丈光芒 (hello... it's RAY of light, not RAYS of light)
music --> 音乐圣堂 (thats so pretty...)
ghv2 --> 就是娜精选 (why must they have so much 娜)
american life --> 梦醒美国 (shouldn't it be "美国生活" instead)
confessions on a dance floor --> 娜.语.录 (more crude and direct and it'll be "舞池上的告白")
im going to tell you a secret --> 玛丹娜的秘密档案 (thats so csi)
the confessions tour --> 娜‧语‧录世界巡回演唱会实录 (the word "confessions" is officially useless)
